Sam Wilson
Managing Director

Sam Wilson is the Managing Director of Harvis and has been with the firm since 2012.

Sam is highly experienced in financial modelling, structured finance and restructuring. He is particularly skilled at the real asset level, possessing a strategic and transactional understanding of Western Australian real estate, natural resources, agriculture and infrastructure.

Sam’s inherent practical skillset and financial foundation has driven a number of key successes for the firm’s credit fund strategies and special situation advisory mandates, including:

  • Successful establishment, management and growth of Harvis real estate credit strategy and funds

  • Execution of Mineral Resources Limited acquisition of the Bald Hill Lithium Mine via a complex Deed of Company Arrangement

  • Execution of Mineral Resources Limited acquisition of 19% equity stake in ASX listed Delta Lithium Limited

  • Structuring and execution of Wildcat Resources Ltd acquisition of the Tabba Tabba lithium project from Global Advanced Metals Pty Ltd

  • Origination and execution of Pilbara Minerals Limited acquisition of Altura Mining Limited’s Pilgangoora lithium mine via a Deed of Company Arrangement restructure and an equity underwrite

  • Pivotal operational role in the turnaround of National Lifestyle Villages under mandate from Blackstone, which saw the 3,000 home retiree land lease community portfolio sold to a GIC backed manager

  • Management of the Northern Gateway Industrial Fund including the rezoning, structure Planning and subdivision approval of the strategic 350ha industrial landbank

Sam was also an Accountant at Ferrier Hodgson in Perth between 2009 and 2011. During this time, Sam worked on a number of restructuring and insolvency engagements across a range of industries, with a focus on natural resources.

Sam has a Bachelor of Commerce from Curtin University of Technology.
